Milford-on-Sea is a thriving coastal village situated in a beautiful location opposite the Needles and Solent Approach with a comprehensive range of restaurants, pubs and cafes, gift and local shops, a medical centre and a dental surgery. The village green is a wonderful social focal point and home to a number of events, while the community centre and four village churches also run busy programmes throughout the year.
Milford-on-Sea boasts a wide expanse of shingle beach, which is enjoyed by the local community, visitors and watersports enthusiasts. There are coastal walks with stunning views of the Solent, Isle of Wight, Needles and Bournemouth Bay, as well as a woodland walk through the Milford-on-Sea Pleasure Grounds and along Hurst Spit to Hurst Castle, which dates back to Tudor times. Add to this the many different clubs and societies, including tennis, squash, football, cricket and sailing, and there truly is something for everyone.
The New Forest National Park is a short drive away, as are the towns of Lymington and New Milton, with the larger shopping centres of Southampton and Bournemouth within easy reach.
